Jewels of the East

Inspired by my journey along The Silk Road, I've drawn inspiration from vintage Uzbek textiles, kilims and colorful dyes. I love to use these bold patterns in both contemporary and eclectic spaces.

Sur La Plage

The inspiration for this collection came from staying on the Eastern coastline, from Cape Cod to Palm Beach. The crisp white background, the weight, and handle of the cotton linen cloth, mixed with the simplistic designs are ideal for a multitude of climates. From the Caribbean to the Scandinavian Archipelagos.

Mexico Meets Morocco

Mexico Meets Morocco

When working on a project in California, I fell in love with the fabrics of Mexico and Morocco. I was intrigued by the bold patterns and lively colors that are native to both countries. I wanted to design a collection that married the two cultures.

British Isles

My fundamental love and yearning for the tradition that was part of my upbringing is very prevalent in this collection. I was drawn to the muddier, tea-stained colors that were reminiscent of my childhood home on the West Coast of Scotland.

Summer In France

When I was raising my three boys, my family and I divided our time between Southern California and Southern France. The undulating countryside and the Tuscan architecture of the Languedoc region inspired this collection while studying the fields of sunflowers near my studio.

Batik

After a trip to Indonesia, I was seduced by Balinese batiks, I collected a series of museum-quality 19th century designs that inspired this collection. Based on tradition, what makes my collection stand out from others is the sense of color and scale.

My philosophy for patterns and color in a room is there should be a floral, a check, and a stripe. With this in mind I’ve put a new spin on all of these designs with hints of European and Asian influences.

Quilt

My first collection, launched in 1997, was inspired by a late 18th century patchwork quilt. The seven patterns and colorways have proved to be the backbone of all collections to come.
